How to measure – helpful tips
When planning your sheers dimensions, please note that the total length includes elements such as:
- rod pocket, multi-functional tape, eyelets: measured from the top edge of the sheers;
- tab tops and the jute tab-tops and ropes: o wysokości adding 8 cm above the top edge of the sheers (measured flat).
However:
- ties are not included in the declared length of the sheers - they are a separate hanging element outside its dimensions,
- if you choose a decorative heading, remember that it does not affect the sheers' length "downwards" - it is an additional decorative element extending above the curtain rod line.
Please note: With proper linen care, its shrinkage is minimal, at just 2–5%. It is worth taking this small margin into account when planning the length.
In the case of softened linen mist fabric, we also recommend increasing the curtain length by about 20 cm relative to the window size. The fabric is very soft and fluid, so it does not hold a perfectly straight bottom line. You will achieve the best decorative effect by allowing the sheers to pool gently on the floor.

Washing: Choose a delicate cycle at temperatures up to 30-40°C. To avoid excessive wrinkling and mechanical damage, do not overload the washing machine drum.
Detergents: Use only mild detergents. Avoid chlorine bleaches, which can weaken the fibers and strip the linen of its natural color.
Drying: It is best to line dry the sheers by hanging them up, avoiding intense, direct sunlight which can over-dry the fabric. Do not tumble dry to prevent significant shrinkage.
Ironing: Linen is best ironed while still slightly damp, using a high temperature setting with steam. For loose-weave curtains, you might consider leaving them with their natural wrinkles, which will enhance their rustic character.
