As a natural fabric, linen features highly dynamic fibers, which is why the dimensional tolerance range is 1-2 cm.

Perfectly fitted curtains are the key to a beautiful interior. Since every window is different, we offer a custom tailoring service. Just let us know the dimensions and colors you need, and we will take care of the rest.

We do our best to show accurate product colors. However, actual fabric shades may vary slightly due to individual monitor and screen settings.

How to measure – helpful tips

When planning your curtain dimensions, please note that the total length of the curtain includes elements such as:

  • rod pocket, multi-functional tape, eyelets: measured from the top edge of the curtain;
  • tab-tops, and jute tab-tops/ropes: adding 8 cm above the top edge of the curtain (measured flat).

However:

  • ties are not included in the declared length of the curtain – they are a separate hanging element outside its dimensions,
  • if you choose a decorative heading, remember that it does not affect the curtain's length "downwards" – it is an additional decorative element extending above the curtain rod line.

Please note: With proper linen care, its shrinkage is minimal, at just 2–5%. It is worth taking this small margin into account when planning the length.

We also recommend adding about 20 cm to the curtain length compared to the window size. You will achieve the best decorative effect by allowing the curtain to pool beautifully on the floor.

Linen is a noble and eco-friendly fabric that brings a breath of nature and elegance into the interior. Caring for linen curtains requires some intuition, but they reward you with exceptional pliability and durability, becoming softer and softer over time. They are the perfect choice for those who appreciate subtle light diffusion and a healthy, hypoallergenic environment. Here is how to care for your linen curtains:

Washing: Choose a delicate cycle at temperatures up to 30-40°C. To avoid excessive wrinkling and mechanical damage, do not overload the washing machine drum.

Detergents: Use only mild detergents. Avoid chlorine bleaches, which can weaken the fibers and strip the linen of its natural color.

Drying: It is best to line dry the curtains, avoiding direct, harsh sunlight, which can over-dry the fabric. Avoid using a tumble dryer to prevent severe shrinkage of the material.

Ironing: Linen curtains are best ironed while still slightly damp, using a high temperature setting with a steam function. However, stonewashed linen looks best without ironing. Its strength lies in its natural texture and noble crinkles, which bring authenticity to the interior.
